If you love coffee, then you should know there’s a lot more for coffee lovers to do than just drink a cup or three at home, or even with friends at a local coffee bar or coffee shop. Perhaps more importantly, if you work in the coffee business, there are some events that you must attend at least once during the span of your coffee career.

Every year, there are lots of amazing events for both hardcore coffee fans and coffee professionals to enjoy. These range from coffee championships that highlight the best in coffee prep that the country has to offer, to events that bring together the best new things happening in the world of coffee. With that in mind, here are some of the most special coffee events coming up for you to put on your calendar in 2020.

U.S. Coffee Championships

Ready to see the best of the best when it comes to coffee preparation? If your answer was a hearty YES, then get ready to come to Orange County, CA. on February 21st to February 23rd for the U.S. Coffee Championships!

Sponsored by the Specialty Coffee Association, the U.S. Coffee Championships bring the best baristas and brewers from all over the country to compete for the right to represent the U.S. at the World Coffee Championships. This three-day event features the U.S. Barista Championship and the U.S. Brewers Cup Championship.

As an added bonus, if you attend this event, you can also see the Roaster, Coffee in Good Spirits, and Cup Tasters Qualifiers, where competitors fight for spots in the U.S. Finals in Portland in April. The event takes place at the OC Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa, CA. and you can register through EventBrite.com.
