When I discovered The Exotic Bean coffee I wasn’t sure whether to order medium roast or dark roast? Upon reading the description I discovered this was a 50/50 mix of both, so that is what I chose. The smells that emanate from the bag as soon as you open it were wonderful, but brewing would be the true test. Well this passed the test with flying colors from the first sip, been ordering 2lbs per month for the past 6 months. What a great find!!!

Well this has opened my eyes, not sure if this is just a special coffees or have all the other coffees I have tried were just that bad? I am a numbers person so I am going to go with this coffee is exceptional. Love the natural flavors this coffee has plus it’s less expensive than many others I have tried. Fantastic cup of coffee.

My friend swears by this coffee. I got so tired of him talking about it I figured I might as well find out for myself. I had my doubts, Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee drinker so I questioned the validity of his claims for a coffee that is only $25 per pound compared to my normal coffee that costs me $70-$80 per pound. Not only do I now feel stupid but I feel ripped off as well. This Thailand Peaberry coffee makes a far superior cup of coffee for far less money. I’ve tried to find a flaw with this bean but I cannot. It holds up well as an espresso, french press & even as a drip coffee. Trust me I tried to find a flaw in this bean just to validate all the years I’ve spent ungodly amounts of money on coffee. This coffee is A+++++++ rated. Don’t let the price fool you, its worth way more than what they are asking. High recommend.

As a regular customer of The Exotic Bean I’ve been waiting for the arrival of this coffee for a long time and it’s finally arrived. When they notified me that it had come in I immediately ordered a pound of it. I wasn’t quite sure it would live up to all the hype, well was I surely mistaken. This is hands down the best dark roast I have ever had, it may actually go down as the best coffee I have ever had. Yes, it’s that good, well worth the wait & price. I also like that this company has stayed strong to their roots by not playing the new shrinkflation game whereas they offer 12oz bags in place of their original 16oz bags like every other company is doing, due to inflation. These guys have always only sold 16oz bags, yes that’s a full pound. Kudos for sticking with your morals. Don’t be surprised if you ever email/call them & you get the owner Mike. A+++ company to deal with.

Very nice roast level with tons of mocha, cocoa and a smooth, sweet very well balanced medium plus body and low acidity. Lingering light chocolate finish with a touch of fruit in the middle. For me, the roast level is dark enough to bring out the mocha, cocoa, light chocolate while preserving a subtle taste of fruit hidden in the body. Your best yet for balance and complexity!

This may actually be the best medium roast coffee I have ever tasted. It’s vast array of complex flavors & it’s smooth full body is something not generally seen in a medium roast. Glad I found this company…

What an awesome cup of coffee. Being a fan of medium roast coffees, I actually had to check to see if this was truly a medium roast due to its complex flavors. I’ve been drinking this for a week now and I cannot go back to my old coffee. I am going to do something I never do and that is to sign up for a subscription plan for this bean. What a find!!!!

Wow, what a pleasant surprise with my first sip, I actually had to verify I was drinking a medium roast. It’s array of interesting but yummy notes made me question if it was just a medium roast. First off I didn’t even know Laos had coffee, my next question was how come only this company discovered it. Lucky for them, they just found themselves a life long customer. A+++++
