Almond Thai Iced Coffee

Food.com’s Evelyn Athens has a Thai iced coffee recipe that you won’t be able to get enough of. Start with four cups worth of Thai coffee and add two teaspoons of ground cardamom, a spice that pairs beautifully with this type of coffee. Brew the coffee as you normally would, then add four tablespoons of sugar and a teaspoon of almond flavoring.

Mix and let cool, then pour the coffee into four separate 12-ounce glasses half-filled with crushed ice. Follow this by stirring in a tablespoon of heavy cream for each glass and enjoy!

Williams-Sonoma Dark Roast Thai Iced Coffee

If you like a darker roast Thai iced coffee, then Williams-Sonoma has the answer. Once again, the secret is cardamom, but the trick here is to get cardamom pods, add them to your dark roast beans (about 5 pods for ¾ cup of beans), and grind it all together. Then brew your coffee as normal.

Once complete, let it cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least two hours. When ready, get 12 small glasses. Add 1/3 cup of coffee and a tablespoon of sweetened condensed milk to each one. Stir, add ice, re-stir and serve.
