Valentine’s Day is officially upon us, and what says I love you more than a romantic, warm, sensuous, sweet coffee drink. We think you’ll agree the answer is nothing, which is why we’ve compiled some of the most delightful Valentine’s Day coffee recipes for you to share with your loved one this year.

  1. Chocolate Strawberry Mocha

Courtesy of Royal Cup Coffee, this fantastic concoction combines all the most sensual flavors of love and is sure to stoke the flames of passion. To make it, take two shots of espresso and stir in two tablespoons of strawberry syrup and two tablespoons of chocolate syrup. Add steamed milk and garnish with whipped cream, some more chocolate syrup and a strawberry on top.

  1. Raspberry White Chocolate Mocha

Another variation on the fruit and chocolate with coffee theme, to make a raspberry white chocolate mocha, simmer one cup of milk in a saucepan, stir in a quarter cup of white chocolate morsels until melted, then pour into a cup and stir in half a cup of coffee and a tablespoon of raspberry spirits. Add whipped cream and Valentine’s themed sprinkles to present this treat to your special someone.

  1. Red Velvet Latte

For that smooth, velvety Valentine’s Day drink, simmer a cup of milk and a tablespoon of sugar in a saucepan. Stir it until the sugar dissolves, remove it from heat and stir in a quarter cup of chocolate morsels. Once the chocolate melts, stir in a half-cup of coffee, a half teaspoon of vanilla extract and three drops of red food coloring. Pour in a cup, top with whipped cream and chocolate chips and serve.

  1. Cupid Cappuccino

Whole Latte Love has their own ideas about Valentine’s Day coffee drinks. Valentine’s Day coffee should essentially be a dessert, and the sweeter the better. One illustration of that is their recipe for the Cupid Cappuccino, which is a glorious mix of an ounce of chocolate syrup, a quarter ounce of Crème De Menthe, a half ounce of Amaretto and a half teaspoon of sugar. Add that mix to a shot of Espresso with four ounces of frothed milk and top it with whipped cream and sprinkles for a drink that you’re sure to fall in love with on the spot.

  1. Black Forest Latte

If you love Black Forest Cake, why not try a Black Forest Latte this Valentine’s Day? It’s easy to make. Just drop 10 ounces of German Chocolate syrup and 10 ounces of Black Cherry syrup into two shots of Espresso, then pour in six ounces of steamed milk and top with whipped cream, chocolate shavings and Maraschino cherries.

  1. Mocha Coffee Sodas for Two

Not all Valentine’s Day coffee drinks have to be hot! SingleJoCoffee.com suggests this romantic recipe for the ice cream float crowd. Put four ounces of strong, black, cold coffee each into two tall, chilled glasses. Stir in a tablespoon of unsweetened cocoa powder and add two tablespoons of heavy whipped cream each. Now pour in four ounces of seltzer water per glass and stir it around. Finally, the finishing touch: add a big scoop of chocolate ice cream for each glass. Garnish with chocolate shavings and enjoy!
